Why add RSS Feeds To Your Website

RSS feeds are an easy way to add content to your website that is always changing.  When Google looks at your site and each time it has some new relevant information it will look favorably towards your site.  This is one of the tricks OG's use to help rank their sites higher than yours.  example Avas flowers is listed in just about every city and if you look they have an RSS feed of the local weather and local news for that city on their website.

Many flower shops have a business Facebook page if you look down the left column you should see your RSS feed for this site.  If you update your Facebook page often this is a good RSS feed to use, it will be about flowers which is a good targeted keyword for your site.  If you do not have a business Facebook page (you should) but you can look for other RSS feeds that will have keywords that will help your site.  Search for rentals or homes for sale for your city and many of these online realty companies have RSS feeds for their listings.  I will put a link below to test these feeds online and to create the code for you to cut and paste into your website.

What you look for is RSS feeds that have keywords about either the city you are in or the city/neighborhood you are targeting for that page.  So rentals and homes for sale many times will work well.

We are adding the ability to add RSS feeds to our Search4Florists sites in the next week or so.  If you do your own website this should be easy to do, but if you use Teleflora, FTD, FSN they may not allow you to do this.

How to use our FREE Websites

First thing you should do is change the text on the website to make it unique to your flower shop and area.  Use keywords that are relevant to your area when writing new text.  For instance, a paragraph for Joe's flower shop in Tampa, FL would read something like this.

Welcome to our flower shop in Tampa, Fl 33776 at Joe's Flowers we believe in giving you quality fresh flowers at an affordable price.  We have a wide selection of fresh flowers on hand.  As one of the premier florists in Tampa, Fl 33776 we pride ourselves in delivering your flower order on time and with a smile.

You see how the word flowers, florist, Tampa, Fl and the zip are used.  These are keywords that will determine if your website should show up when someone searches for a florist or flowers in Tampa, Fl.  If you already have a website, use ours to target a neighborhood or city that you service but are not showing up in.  You need to use your own words, don't copy and paste from other sites because Google will see this as duplicate content and will only show one, probably the one who is already listed.  Make the content unique and not everything has to have keywords only about flowers you can also focus your keywords on a certain funeral home or hospital in your area by telling a little bit about them and sneaking your flower keywords into the subject.

St. Jude's Funeral Home has been servicing Tampa, Fl 33776 for over 20 years.  Since we have been delivering sympathy flowers to St. Jude's Funeral Home we have always been treated special.  If you are looking to send sympathy flowers to St. Jude's Funeral Home I hope you consider Joe's Flowers.  When looking for a florist in Tampa, Fl 33776 to deliver fresh flowers for St. Jude's Funeral Home look no further.  Joe's Flowers will deliver your St. Judes funeral flowers on time and with the care and respect you deserve.

These are just a couple of examples on how to use our websites to benefit you.  You can have as many storefront pages you wish to have, these are the initial page you come to when someone goes to your site.  We have designed the actual store to be self contained as you can see if you go to http://saveaflorist.com and click on one of the templates at the bottom of the page.  By taking the page and using it for more unique text focusing on specific keywords will help you rank higher in Google.  This is one of the reasons we put all of the floral pics in a separate sales module.  Don't be afraid to add relevant content to the page the faster Google finds content that is relevant to the search (flowers) (St. Judes Funeral Home) etc... the higher up the rankings you will be.

The sites are FREE so you should at least try or stop complaining.
